T he seminar will bring together economists, jurists and other social scientists working in the area of agricultural policy (CAP reform) in order to discuss and assess the institutional, economic and policy implications of the current and forthcoming design of public support to European agriculture. Furthermore, in order to take into account the opinions of all involved stakeholders, the contribution of policy makers, analysts, administrators and representatives from farmer organizations are very welcome. Participants who intend to contribute a paper are required to e-mail an abstract of 500 words in English by April 25th, 2008, to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it using the two forms that can be found and downloaded below. Each abstract will be registered with a confirmation code which will be sent back to the applicant. The abstract should indicate: the question addressed, the concepts and theories to which one refers, the methodological approach and the expected results. Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified by June 1st, 2008. The deadline for the final submission of the accepted papers is October 17th, 2008. All accepted papers will be collected on a CD-ROM. A selection of contributed papers will be published in a volume of conference proceedings on the basis of a peer review process.
